Being obsessed with wildlife, the most memorable day was spent at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka, where I had the opportunity to see a diverse range of animals living completely free. The highlight of the day was when a Sloth Bear suddenly appeared and gradually approached the vehicle that we were in. Eleri and I, as well as our guide, were the only people that saw the illusive bear that day. Our guide, who works seven days a week at the park, said he hadn't seen one in over six months and had never seen one that close before. Something I will always remember. I produced this illustration as a gift for Eleri.
